FAQ

Just me and you. A note from Russell.

I did not start Phantasmagorical to sell merch. I started it because the culture deserved better than cheap, scratchy festival gear that shrinks after one wash. I wanted to make wearable artifacts: heavyweight cotton, original art that explores inner consciousness, high-end streetwear for the deconstructed mind. There is no board of directors and no glass office here. It is just me. I design the pieces, write the emails, and answer every support ticket.

Is Phantasmagorical a real company?

As real as it gets. This is not a faceless corporation. We hold a 4.9 star rating from real customers, and around 40 percent of our sales each month come from people coming back for more. When you buy here, you are supporting one person's dream.

Why does shipping take a little longer?

Because we do not mass produce. Every piece is made to order when you buy it, which means less waste and a garment made just for you. That takes a few extra days, usually around 9 to 12 business days, and you get a tracking email the moment it ships. You cannot rush a good harvest.

Are your garments made in a sweatshop?

Absolutely not. The manufacturing partner was chosen personally and is committed to ethical production, fair pay, and safe working conditions.

My item arrived defective. What do I do?

If a piece is genuinely defective, email within 30 days and it will be replaced for free, with shipping covered. Just reach out.

How do I care for my garment?

These are premium pieces, many finished with snow wash or vintage dyes, so treat them well. Wash inside out on cold, tumble dry low or hang dry, and do not iron the design.

Why do some pieces have raw or frayed edges?

That is intentional, not damage. We call it intentional finishing: raw hems and hand-frayed details that give each piece a broken-in, vintage feel from the first wear. It is wabi-sabi, the beauty in imperfection.
