What the Dimensional Drift design is about
A saucer hangs at the center of the print with a single open eye at its core, throwing a beam of fine parallel lines down onto a wireframe human figure that floats mid air, arched backward. Around them, a sun, a crescent moon and a scatter of stars sit on thin orbit lines. It is drawn in warm cream line work with no fills, which is what lets the wash show through the whole scene. Most long sleeve tees sold at retail sit around 150 to 180 GSM and go thin at the elbow inside a season. This one is 250 GSM, which is 7.4 oz per square yard. The extra yarn is what lets the body hang instead of cling, and it gives the print a stable surface rather than a stretched one.
How the acid wash is done
Acid wash is a garment wash. It is applied after the piece is sewn, not to the yarn, so the fade breaks across the seams and down the sleeves and lands a little differently on every unit. Two pieces in the same colorway will not match each other exactly. That is the finish doing its job.
The fit
Cut oversized with a drop shoulder, so the sleeve seam sits down the arm and the shoulder line reads wide. Ribbed round neck, straight hem, long enough to wear out over the waist.
