A Note from Russell 🍄
Howdy.
I didn't start Phantasmagorical just to sell "merch."
I started it because I was tired of the gap in the market. I was sick of seeing cheap, scratchy festival gear that shrank after one wash. The culture deserved better.
I wanted to create "wearable artifacts." Heavyweight cotton. Art that explores inner consciousness. High-end streetwear for the deconstructed mind.
So, I left my 10-year career in tech to build this.
There is no board of directors here. There is no big marketing team in a glass office.
It is just me.
I design the shirts. I write the emails. I answer the support tickets. I run the whole show.
When you buy from Phantasmagorical, you aren't funding a faceless corporation's third yacht. You are supporting a real person's dream.
Because I am a small shop obsessed with quality, I do things a little differently than Amazon. Please read below so we can get you the perfect fit.
FAQs – Just Me and You
Is this one of those drop shipping scams? Short answer: Nope.
I get why you ask. There are a lot of sketchy folks out there selling cheap junk. That ain't us.
When you order, my manufacturing partner makes your shirt. But this isn't some random factory. I work with one boutique partner. They care about quality. They treat people right.
I do this so I can focus on the art. I don't want to be a shipping clerk. Every shirt is made to order. It is intentional.
Why does shipping take a little longer? Because we don't mass produce. Every shirt is created when you order it. That means less waste. It’s better for the planet.
It takes a few extra days to get to you. But I promise it is worth the wait. You aren't buying a shirt off a shelf. You are getting something made just for you.
As the old saying goes, you can’t rush a good harvest. 🌾
Are your shirts made in a sweatshop? Absolutely not.
I picked my manufacturer personally. They are committed to ethical production. Everyone is paid fairly. They work in safe conditions.
I don't do fast fashion. If I couldn't stand behind how these are made, I wouldn't do this. Simple as that.
Where are the shirts made? My manufacturing partner is a boutique shop. They focus on quality and fair labor. No cut corners.
Some shirts are made at their US location. Some are made at their location in China.
I know there is a stigma there. I get it. But families over there need to put food on the table, too. Good folks are good folks, no matter where they hang their hat.
Plus, did you know that 90% of iPhones are made in China? The craftsmanship is real if you find the right partners. And I did.
What if the shirt doesn’t fit? I want you to love what you wear. Since I can’t be there to measure you, I have a secret weapon.
It is called the Sizing Oracle. 🔮
It is an AI widget right next to the "Add to Cart" button. It uses data to find your perfect fit. Please use it!
-
The ChatGPT Trick: You can also copy our size chart. Paste it into ChatGPT. Tell it your height and weight. It will tell you exactly what to buy.
Can I return or exchange a shirt? Since every piece is made-to-order, I do things a little differently. It depends on one thing: Did you use the Sizing Oracle?
-
If you USED the Oracle: I offer a 30-Day Worry-Free Exchange. If the Oracle was wrong, just email me at Hello@phantasmagorical.co. I will help you swap it for the right size. I want you to feel confident.
-
If you did NOT use the Oracle: I cannot offer a return or exchange. As a small shop, shipping items back and forth costs too much. But I won't leave you hanging. Keep the shirt. Gift it to a friend. I will give you a 40% discount code to buy the correct size. This keeps things simple and sustainable.
What about International orders? For my friends outside the USA, I cannot do returns or exchanges. Shipping is just too tricky. Please use the Sizing Oracle before you buy. Measure twice, buy once!
What if my item is damaged? If your item is actually defective, tell me within 30 days. I will replace it for free. I will pay for the shipping too. Just email me.
How do I care for my shirt? These are premium garments. Many have special "Snow Wash" or vintage dyes. Treat them well.
-
Wash inside out on cold.
-
Tumble dry low or hang dry.
-
Don't iron the design.
-
Handle with care.
What's up with the "distressed" look? You might see some frayed hems. Or some "imperfections." That is on purpose. It isn't damage. It’s a feature.
We call it "Intentional Distressing." It gives it that worn-in vintage feel. Like a shirt you've loved for 10 years. It’s wabi-sabi. It embraces the beauty in imperfection.
Is Phantasmagorical a real company? Buddy, we are as real as it gets.
This isn't some faceless corporation. The proof is in the pudding:
-
We have a 4.9 Star Rating from real customers.
-
40% of our sales every month are from folks coming back for more.
That is not an accident. When you buy from here, you are supporting a real person.
Thank you for being part of the collective journey. Stay curious homies. ⚡
Sincerely, Russell 🍄
