Why Phantasmagorical exists
Hey, I'm Russell. I started Phantasmagorical out of frustration with the psychedelic clothing market. The options were thin: flimsy blanks, meaningless AI generated designs, and merch built for a single weekend rather than a life. I wanted something for adults who appreciate quality, thoughtful design, and a touch of the mystical in their everyday wear. I could not find it, so I built it.
From tech to thread
I spent a decade in tech before this. Phantasmagorical is what happened when I decided to make physical things worth keeping instead. I wear test every piece myself (6'2", 180 lbs, size L or XL depending on the cut), and nothing goes live until the fabric, the fit and the print feel right in person.
Built heavy on purpose
Every garment starts with dense premium cotton, from our 250 GSM heavyweight tees up to 420 GSM hoodies and sweatpants. Then it goes through real garment finishing: snow wash, mineral wash, fluffy vintage and sun fade treatments that leave every single piece slightly different from the next. If you have ever wondered why our shirts feel closer to outerwear than to mall tees, the weight is the answer.
Made to order, nothing wasted
We produce made to order. Your piece is printed and washed when you order it, which means no pallets of unsold inventory heading for a landfill and no pressure to chase trends. It takes a few extra days to reach you, and it is worth it.
Art with a pulse
The designs are original works we commission from gifted, undiscovered psychedelic artists around the world, including artists in places where creative work rarely pays fairly. Every purchase funds the next commission. No stock art, no shortcuts.
